STORMDEATH (Swedish Thrash Metal)

STORMDEATH began in Gothenburg during an evening late in 2008 when Evil Bastard and Desekrator (also in Pagan Rites & Styggelse) were contemplating today's thrash scene. They came to the conclusion that they should start a band that played the kind of music they wanted to be fans of themselves.

First recruit was bassist Sergeddon. After a number of rehearsals as a trio, in the summer of 2009 they recruited a drummer, the vicious Predator. The EP “Godrun” was then released in 2010, followed by their first few gigs. However, in early 2011 bassist Sergeddon quit the band due to personal reasons and was replaced by the mighty Incinerator (Armory & Beyond Mortality). They recorded a video for the track "Drink Beer & Worship Satan" from "Godrun."

The new lineup, after writing and rehearsing new material, unleashed the EP Promodeath in December 2012. After playing a couple of gigs around Sweden, in November 2013 they embarked on a European tour taking them to Germany, Poland, Belgium and Netherlands. During 2014-2015 the writing of new material was on the way, just interrupted by shows in northern Sweden and Rijeka, Croatia.
