Evil Force was spawned in Asunción, Paraguay by Williams Sarubbi, Fernando Cáceres and Matias Cáceres in early 2005, Marcelo Gómez soon joined in the band. Initially none of the members had instruments, electric guitars, or drums, they used to rehearse with acoustic guitars, a book like drum box and the mattress of the bed as a bass drum. Despite some lineup changes and other hardships, the sheer tenacity eventually helped the band to become more matured and to entrench into the scene as a cutthroat Speed/Thrash Metal force. Nearly a decade of their career has seen the outcomes of many violent live gigs, two full lengths, two mini albums, three demo releases, and several split albums with some other Speed/Thrash Metallers.

Witches Brew signed Evil Force in 2016 and the very first release with the label was “Nocturnal Annihilation”, a split release with their Finnish Speed/Thrashing label mate Pyöveli. A month later, “Banging on the Pentagram”, the sophomore album was brought to light by the same label.  8 tracks of the album are proper illustration of old-school, raw and furious sounding Speed/Thrash Metal. Existence of punchy, frenzied riff massacres, exciting short solos, gritty vocals and fast drumming make the album worthy enough and listeners of early Speed/Thrash are likely to enjoy the way Evil Force is burning the steel. Lyrically they follow the trail of bands of 80s by verbalizing the spirit of metal, headbanging and evil.

Highly Recommended: To the fans of early Exciter, Razor, Sacrifice, Venom, Destruction and lesser known but still killer act like Mace.
