Helioss "Antumbra" (Symphonic Black Metal)

Only two years after their previous opus "One With The Sun", French duo Helioss is back with a new album "Antumbra"!

Their new album will be released on March 24th via Apathia Records.

"Antumbra" features 11 new tracks blending once again the brutality and darkness which define black metal and the light that goes with melodic and symphonic metal. Still with D.M (Wrath From Above) as a singer by his side, Nicolas Muller wrote once again an hour of aggressive and melancholic music where piano parts, orchestral parts and razor-sharp guitar riffs come together.

Extreme metal is once again brought together with baroque and epic melodies from the symphonic world, topped by D.M’s ever raging and possessed vocals.

Dealing with themes such as light, religion, death or where men belong in the world, “Antumbra” features 11 varied and powerful symphonic black/death songs and will take the shape of a 3-panel digipack. It was recorded in early 2016 and then mixed/mastered during summer 2016 by Frederic Gervais (Orakle) at Henosis Studios.
