Dyecrest releases a second single from their upcoming album featuring Björn Strid from Soilwork

Dyecrest releases a second single from their upcoming album

"Red Alert" represents band's more aggressive side - featuring Björn ”Speed” Strid

Finnish band Dyecrest is returning after a long hiatus and has just released (1.3.2018) a new song called Red Alert. It is a second single from the upcoming full-lenght album Are You Not Entertained? (Inverse Records, 2018) to be released later this spring.

Whereas the first single First Born Angel, released in February 2018, was selected to introduce the new lead vocalist Mikael Salo and the band's "more traditional melodic metal sound", Red Alert represents more aggressive side of the new album. Besides Salo, the song features also Soilwork's frontman Björn "Speed" Strid on lead vocals.

 - Red Alert is all about that "take no prisoners" attitude and it works as a charm as a duet between Björn and Mikael! says Dyecrest's guitarist Matti Pasanen with a grin.

"In your face" vocals and tight riffing in the verses combined with a catchy chorus spiced up with a massive choir, describes Pasanen.

 - This was one of the songs I counted on already in the early phase of the production. Listening to the final mix I'm glad to state that I was right. It's a total killer, no doubt about that! Pasanen ends with a cheery smile.
